Tell Me A Story

Tell Me a Story is an exhibition of colourful Surrealist magazine collages, each with a story to tell. You are invited to choose a collage to write or tell me about. Your stories will be displayed throughout the exhibition.
This exhibition is my homage to Mr. Rigden, an inspirational teacher at Newington Junior School, Ramsgate. Mr. Rigden taught us Creative Writing. He encouraged us to use our imagination and to include all five senses in our stories.
That was over 60 years ago. When I choose totally random images to create my collages today, I remember Mr. Rigden chalking the names of random items on the blackboard for our class to include in a story. Thank you Mr. Rigden.
