Programme of events 2024 - 2025
Meetings are at the Tesco Community Space, Tesco Extra, Millstrood Road at 7:15pm for a 7:30 start. Please note the change of day and venue!
Coffee Mornings are now on Tuesdays, check below for the dates. 10:00 upstairs at the South Quay Shed, Whitstable Harbour.
10th September 2025 Welcome Back! Welcome new members and set the agenda for the coming season, bring your suggestions for activities and speakers!
23rd September Coffee Morning
8th October Show your pictures from the Scavenger Hunt. Bring on a USB drive three images, one from each of your favourite three of the following topics; Reflections, Still Life, Water, Action, Street. Preferably new images. If you get that done, you can have a go at the other two topics too!
28th October Coffee Morning
12th November A competition on the theme "Wildlife and Nature", 4 images. Start shooting and editing, details of how to submit the images will follow.

9th December Coffee Morning
December There won't be a club night, but there will be a club outing, perhaps to Ramsgate or Canterbury to photograph the Christmas lights. Date and details to be confirmed, depending on the weather, tide etc.
14th January 2026 Ros will explain a creative development course she is working on, bring 4 new creative images to show.
27th January Coffee Morning
11th February Ian Howard will give his talk “Philosophy of your Photography Part 2” (we enjoyed part 1 previously)
24th February Coffee Morning
11th March The Defence of the Thames Estuary and Medway, an illustrated talk by Jeff, Peter D and Mike.

8th April Life at 1/10th Second. Bring up to 4 images of any subject in any style, as long as the shutter speed was 1/10th second!
28th April Coffee Morning
13th May Image of the Year. A competition, you will be invited to submit your best images! Details to follow.
26th May Coffee Morning
10th June AGM.
Also in June, a possible trip to Margate to photograph tidal pools, sunsets etc. Date depending on tide and weather!
